Petroweb Solutions is an established
IT company which specialises in the development
of web-based business applications requiring the
integration of highly complex database structures
and process logic.
We have recently integrated our
business with Atlas Interactive, a leading global
provider of e-Learning systems to the oil and gas

Based in Aberdeen (Scotland) (see contact details),
Petroweb Solutions has been working with the oil
and gas industry for several years on a number
of projects mainly in the well construction sector.

2) Bespoke Development back to top
We have a team of highly skilled and specialised
software developers, making use of the latest
Microsoft .NET environment to allow us to develop
bespoke applications, based on individual client
requirements. We have the ability and proven
track record to work closely with our clients
to define the process they want to cover and
from this develop a functional specification
document, which will form the basis of the development.
If the Functional Specification is agreed, then
a Technical Specification document will be developed,
which aims to specify the development requirements
in technical detail, including the data structure
requirements.
With both the Functional and Technical specifications
in hand, we can then make an accurate estimate
of the development time, management time and testing
times required and come to a final cost for the

Perhaps a more novel approach to product development,
whereby we collaborate or partner with a company
which has a defined product idea or need and
has a market for this product, but not the ability
or funds to develop the product up-front. If
the project outlook and market research shows
that there is a viable niche and that it can
be made profitable, then we will work with this
company to develop and market the product in
partnership and share in the rewards. |
