DETAIL™ is Petroweb Solutions' established web-based Lessons Learned Management system, developed over 2 years ago in close cooperation with Kerr-McGee North Sea (UK) Ltd.

DETAIL™ stands for Documenting Events, Tracking Action and Improved Learning, which describes in a nutshell the full process covered by the system. It builds on the fact that Lessons Learned do not easily 'appear' in any corporation and have to be triggered by an event, which in turn is properly followed up, with conclusions, recommendations and learning points, before being approved and closed out.

DETAIL™ has a unique process for linking lessons associated with events to a set of 'Future Applicability' attributes, which allows users to create check-lists of lessons which will have a direct impact on the specific task at hand, regardless if this is on an operational level, design, contracting, programming or planning.
